German Exercise Science and Training Conference (GEST)

The German Exercise Science and Training Conference (GEST) is the biennial meeting of the Exercise Science Section of the German Association for Sport Science (dvs). This year’s theme “Fusion of Science and Sport: an international Dialoge” reflects the need for a deeper connection between scientific research and training practice, as well as communication across borders – not only at the European level, but also worldwide. GEST 2025 will be held in close cooperation with the local state sports association (Sportcampus Saar) and the Luxembourg Institute for High-Performance in Sports (LIHPS). We do not only want to be attractive for sport science academics, we also want to create a platform for interaction with practitioners and coaches. We look forward to welcoming you to Saarbrücken from 19-21 February 2025 for a conference full of scientific presentations, workshops and plenty of opportunities for personal exchange.
